Thankyou for trying to help me with the search for the Thomson family I began this quest to find any living member of Georges son John Hamilton Thomson being a friend of our Uncles during the war they met during training together in RAAF and even though they were seperated to different squadron they kept writing. They both died in 1944 different times John is buried in Hannover and Bryce in France.  I basically started to let a close member of his family know that John did have a good friend and that we had one or two photos and that John was mention right thoughout Bryces diary.  I slowly discovered that not only I can find little about John it seems when they seperated in England and the mortality rate wasn't good I believe it changed a lot of people.  So I thought I'd try his home town to no luck I found out a man was enquiring about John through his old squadron to find he bought John's war medals at public action. I will keep on trying to find out about John and his family maybe just to let him come home to some love one so to speak.  I'm sorry I have written a long story I thought I would just let you know why I have asked for you to help and it wasn't just for nothing.  If you could please let me know how to contact Mr Max Solling I would appreciate it and thankyou for putting it on you message board Regards Therese Webb
